When I was a teenager Lora Logic (X-Ray Spex, Essential Logic) was one of my heroes, so this could have been a difficult choice for me, but then I thought of Bowie's "Young Americans" and Roxy Music's "Song for Europe," and I still wound up settling on the Psychedelic Furs' "Sister Europe" instead. Go figure.

Oh come on, it's got to be The Working Hour by Tears For Fears! smile Not exactly heavy stuff but the atmosphere is just otherworldly.

Love Theme from Blade Runner. Dick Morrissey on sax.

She's Got Claws was a close second. Mick Karn on sax.

Gerry Rafferty's ' Baker Street ' springs to mind, although on more geeky note I have to mention Martin Cooper's saxy contribution to OMITD 's debut album with Mystereality .

We had some laughs with Madness tho didn't we?

The one from Blade Runner is cool.

"Start" from Peter Gabriel 3 is also good.

Dick Morrisey also did some decent sax on some of Gary Numan's 80s stuff, although I'm not much of a fan of the Numan/sax combo.

I'm a fan of "The Wedding" and "Looking for Lester" on Bowie's Black Tie White Noise album. In fact all the sax on that is cool.

Take the backing vocals and sax off Wariors and you'd be left with a stunning album... actually you could say the same with Berserker and The Fury.
