Two new DVDs will be made available on The Pleasure Principle 2009 UK Tour, which starts next Tues (November 17). The Touring Principle '79 was the first ever music video cassette when it was released in 1980. It's now on DVD for the first time and features the original footage of the 11 songs filmed on Gary Numan's debut tour, without any 'special effects'. The version that came out on video is also included as an 'extra' along with an interview with the singer. The Touring Principle '79 will also be released via the Official Shop at
www.numan.co.uk after the tour.
The limited edition Conversation DVD is a 90-minute, in depth interview with Gary about The Pleasure Principle album, filmed at Play Studios in London where he's surrounded by the kind of synthesizers that he used on the original record. This will be made available exclusively on the UK dates as a new DVD Tour Programme and if there are any copies left via
www.numan.co.uk after the final London show on 3 December.
