Metamatic Forums Socialising The Green Room Magic Moments ? *

There are quite a few magic moments.
I guess the most important one was being recommended by a friend saying "you must listen to Systems of romance" back in 1979. I was hooked from that day on.

I guess the other was hearing John live for the first time at the Mean Fiddler in London Sept 2001.

John Foxx is like a London bus for me You wait 28 years for one , then two turn up at almost the same time !!
I feel old I've seen him play in two different millenia ! (as most people have I reckon)

You will excuse me if this is not directly Foxx-related, but my magic moment is set in 1976 - or 1977 (gosh! Is it really 30 years ago? )

At that time, my favourite band were Abba. Then one evening, I rememeber watching a XMas show with Bing Crosby. Suddenly, from a blue cloud, emerged the most incredible, fascinating human being I'd ever seen, singing a hypnotizing song... "Heroes".

That was my jump into adulthood (musically speaking).
