May the memory keep you warm tonight

PS when you've finished with that black armband Paass it on to me. After our abysmal performance on the South Coast today , I fear the wheels have fallen off the Martinez Revolution !

Being in possibly the almost unique position of being both a Hereford United and John Foxx fan, it's nice to see that the news of HUFC's decline has reverberated with the wider world.

There's a long story behind our demise - if you have a few hours to kill, the excellent www.saveedgarstreet.com blog tells the full story but the jist of it is that we got taken over by a bunch of crooks from Essex who wanted to run the club into the ground then sell off the site for housing or retail development then head off back to Essex with a fat profit. The fact they haven't succeeded is down to a combination of fans protests and their won incompetence, but we see the liquidation of the club as a positive step.

We intend to reform as a community based club called Hereford FC, run by the fans for the fans in a similar model to the likes of Chester and Exeter. Already a supporters trust has been set up to make this happen.

If anyone fancies joining the new trust, details are on the link below;

We'll be back!
