Hi Brian
Thanks Brian for posting the links. I really enjoyed watching these. I bet it was a bit disconcerning for John during Underpass and No One Driving with some guy to-ing and throwing looking at cables. I would of found it very off putting but John continued as you do.

I hope who ever put those on uTube puts My Face and A New Kind Of Man on there. Just wondering what they sounded like live. wink

Have a feeling 'My Face' will make some appearances during some later gigs too, my main hope is for an official release as theres quite a lot of tracks different to the 'as big as a city' cd.

Great results. Really enjoyed them. laugh

BTW what was wrong with John's Synth system on Underpass and No-one Driving that Louis and some crew member were trying to adjust some cable etc? Noticed no difference on each song.

Those clips are great, Brian, thanks for linking to them smile .

I loved the way John just kept on going while everyone was fussing round the synth...what a pro laugh .

re: No-one Driving.

I do believe that the man in the pit whose 'back-of-head" appears briefly at the beginning might be our own Mr Harris???... smile

Yes, that's me - I was hoping that no-one would notice (I was doing my best to 'keep my head down')... wink

The Guy on stage is Chris Oliver.
He is the tech for John on the live shows.

John calls him either ChrisV2 or mini-me

I'm ChrisV1!!!

The issue was with the Digitech Vocalist.
John's vocals were not being "vocoded" properly.
It worked before the show as I had checked it.

We took a look at it after and it seemed to function correctly.
It was OK on Saturday for Cathedral Oceans set.

One of lifes mysteries

Cheers Chris,

It makes me happy when, even the most technically minded people in the world are reduced to just 'wiggling the wires about' or 'giving it a kick' - it makes me feel less stupid when I do it to the TV every now and then! wink
