Why is the evening show showing as "sold out" on John's myspace page? And why, when you click on the gig, does the info say "Cost: £8 adv. Tickets from: www.wegottickets.com"??

You don't get it. We were told that tickets for the evening gig would only be sold on the door, and only after it was known how many would be available, priority being given to t-shirt wearers who couldn't get in to the afternoon show.

Nope!,not as I remember it,the afternoon gig is the free one,if too many people turn up a portion of the tickets for the evening show will be held back for the 'dissapointed' fans, those not 'secured' at the afternoon show will be made avialable to anyone who wants one.
Therefore, the demand for free ticks and the demand for the night gig probaly does mean it's sold out...just now! smile

Just my take on what has been stated.

just (skim)re-read the posts above and the thing that jumps out at me is £8 in ADVANCE or £10 on the door

Just discovered that the evening show is now sold out, & I was expecting to get a ticket on the door (I did this in case I bought one early then didn't get in to the first one, in which case I would've bought two tickets for effectively the same gig) but now if I don't get into the T-shirt gig, I won't get in at all, so I may not bother now, unless I can get a ticket on ebay or something.
