My No-Chance-in-Hell Top 5 is:

- MORNING GLORY (the lovely closing ballad on In Mysterious Ways)
- DISTANT SMILE (off Ha! Ha! Ha!)
- HERE WE GO (delicious reflective ambient electropop from Shifting City)
- UPTOWN/DOWNTOWN (haunting 3am outside beatbox & vocoder from Pleasures of Electricity)
- GOLDEN GREEN (that one with the singing and nice chord progression that closes Cathedral Oceans II)


I also think John should bring Robin Simon along to "large it" on guitar

Blimey, I don't ever keep those. Read once and delete. Oh well it doesn't matter. I have just become overwhelmed by a huge wave of ennui regarding the whole subject.

Personally I haven't got the T-shirt 'cause depending on the date and venue, there's every chance I wouldn't be able to make the free gig. Now if it were a short 5-date tour with a couple of gigs in the North, I might just be interested......

It's quite difficult to choose from John's catalogue but what sprang to mind that morning were:
