Not quite redundant - as the versions of Shifting City are different. There are also some subtle differences between tracks on the Subterranean Omnidelic Exotour and the later Edsel release.

Off the top of my head, there are some slight differences with The Quiet Men, The Noise and An Ocean We Can Breathe - so I'll try and detail 'exactly' what theses differences are - and I'll post accordingly.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one wallowing in confusion over this one.

On the edsel release, there are added synth lines on various tracks, extra intro and guitar like stabs on Quiet Men.
On the Exotour 97 Cd (it's referred to as this on the label), Shifting City has the coda with no added vocal.
So all three releases have things unique to them.

I got my copy of "Exotour 1997" CD yesterday. Everything looks & sounds OK, but it's not numbered!?!

The cover is CD-single style cardboard and it's black inside. There's a space for numbering on the back cover but there's nothing between "Limited edition" and "of 1000".

The disc has light blue label. The title of record is JOHN FOXX & LOUIS GORDON Exotour 1997. One of the very small "engravings" near the hole is IFPI 94A8 and the other is IFPI L554.

Both the disc and the cover look like real thing but no numbering makes me think: a fake, a rarity or a typical "Exotour 97"?

That is most unusual. Mine is impact printed onto the panel thus : "No. 012 of 1000". The "No. 012" is clearly not done at the same time as the rest - it is a different font, and obviously applied "after the fact". It seems that you have either got a fake on your hands, or a very, very collectible un-numbered original. Unfortunately, my money's on the former.

Is the CD-disk printed with a fairly thick powder-blue gloss surface, with black text?
