Just going back to Interplay appearing in the Indie album charts - is this John's first chart appearance since 1985 (IMW)?

A Falling Star is my second favourite track after Summerland.

It's the most moving track on the album for me, and it wouldn't have sounded out of place on TPOE.

Beautiful and atmospheric.

I also think it's one of the strongest tracks on the album. Reminds me of so many things about John Foxx that I love, and not least the title track from In Mysterious Ways.

As Alex said before, Interplay pulls a lot of things together - and then blows them apart into tiny coloured fragments…

Is is a very colourful album. And I think Barnbrook has tapped into that with the artwork too - it all comes together perfectly.

Played a few times before forming an opinion.

It is John's best album since TPOE. A solid set of songs, although I actually prefer the mix of "Shatterproof" which won the competition.

Stand out tracks are "Catwalk", "Summerland", "Interplay" and certainly prefer the new recording of "Watching A Building On Fire", "Evergreen" is a fantastic track. I also like the Kraftwerkesque closing track "The Good Shadow". New version of "Destination" is good to, would like to have seen "September Town" added to make the album a little longer.

My favourite is "Falling Star", a stunning track!

Let's hope there are plans for another John Foxx & The Maths album! 8/10

Got this today and I'm listening to it for the second time. Before, I was wondering why this album, out of so many post-IMW albums, was getting so much attention. But there really is something special about this one, isn't there?

How Johnny Got His Groove Back

Just finished listening to it for the first time. Making this brief because I'm on the train. It's an instant classic. John sounds inspired again and Benge's synths are a pleasure to listen to. (Now we just need to remix that track with the off key female vocals and it will be perfect. smile )
