...does that imply you haven't heard it yet?

Yup, I've simply not had the chance...

I've just sorted out my in-car system, so I can plug in my MP3 player (not iPod!).

So, I have 1Gb of mainly JF stuff, and some other bits as well.

This morning, it was TCM (always seems to default to this as a start point), a bit of Gary Numan, and some Crash and Burn.

We'll look forward to hearing what you think of it then! wink

I think I overplayed both Sideways and From Trash when they came out. I've given them both a rest for a few weeks now, so I'm looking forward to getting back into them soon.

SIdeways is certainly an interesting collection of songs.

I'm listening to David Bowie live at the Tower Philadelphia. I've never really listened to him live so this album is quite interesting.

I'm playing a live album too as it happens.
Every now and then I call on "Judy Garland - Live at Carnegie Hall" to lift things.
Absolutely heart-wrenching genius, one of the most incredible performances of her career.
The way she delivers a song is unsurpassed - timing, passion, fun, sensuality, despair…

Leaves me feeling spectacularly empty.

I'm still on Bowie - a whole variety of tracks from every period.

I got an ipod for xmas so I've been listening to Living Ornaments '79 and '80 without the edits*. I've also been listening to the Aerial trilogy by Tod Dockstader - imagine Cathedral Oceans being performed with Short Wave radios - hard I know but that might give you an idea.

* does anyone know how to remove the gaps between tracks using i-tunes? I keep ticking the 'Gapless Album' box before importing but there is still a blip between tracks, which is really irritating

An odd sort of morning, really...

'Music For 18 Musicians' by Steve Reich followed by 'The Best Of Eddie Cochran'.

Think I'm going to listen to 'Ha! Ha! Ha!' next...
