I thought I was bored with Underpass, but it's great to see new life breathed into it.

Couldn't agree more... being the solo career anniversary and all that, a re-release of Underpass (this version) would be quite fitting.

All I can say is :- EXCELLENT.

Is there an actual anniversary 'date'? just wondering if there's any significance in May/June for the album and gig dates.

I remember a while back there was a celebration of the release of "Underpass"... although wasn't "No-One Driving" the first actual solo single? (apologies if I'm getting confused).

Underpass was first released on January 4th 1980, closely followed by the Metamatic album on the 18th.

No-One Driving was the second single, released on March 7th 1980.

As far as I'm aware there is no specific anniversary date, although obviously the Roundhouse show on June 5th 'officially' celebrates 30 years.

The next 30th Anniversary of a John Foxx solo release is that of Burning Car on June 27th

It's actually 35 years since 'Ain't Misbehavin / Monkey Jive' first came out, though exact release dates are hard to nail down. March 14th is a pretty safe bet...

I entirely agree with you Birdsong. Underpass (2010) should be released as a single. I don't very often enthuse much about re-mixes but this stands out from the crowd.

Karborn has done marvels with the video.

I quite like them if it's appropriate. Unless it comes in a box, how else would they include 3 discs.
