Dont know if anyone ever brought this up before but somehow I thought about this the other day.

I actually bought single at the time just because they mentioned John. Its not my sort of music but I was just curious (released 1981). I also did really like the idea of the Fall and a couple of my friends liked them too.

I wonder what John thinks about this?

i always thought it has something to do with that thin lizzy album but who knows...

I loved The Lizzy Ironically one track from that album was entitled "Johnny the Fox meets Jimmy the Weed "
