This material is released (and perhaps therefore written?) as a single, after all and that's a whole different thing to what we are used to with John's material [/b]I think that there could be something in what you say, Martin. But though I welcome this single as a saliva-inducing glimpse of what we can expect on the forthcoming album, the rationale behind its release is a bit elusive. Destination is as cool as f**k and strangely accessible at the same time. It certainly deserves to sell well and it could even achieve a higher chart placing than Underpass if it got the exposure, what with the current mainstream vogue for retro electronic sounds from artists such as Little Boots and La Roux. But, sadly, that's an alternate world and it just ain't going to happen at this stage in John's career and the download is unlikely to be purchased by many outside his hardcore following.
