I think it's a good idea for the narrative voice not to be Foxx, as the Quiet Man character is meant to be sort of invisible and indistinct which Foxx isn't.
This is the same narration that was heard at Fulham Palace, and I think the narrator is Mark Fisher (aka K-Punk/WIRE Magazine contributor).
Fisher created a show for Resonance FM called
londonunderlondon a while back (2005) which fused the Quiet Man text with other texts, some taken from Ballard's
The Drowned World and used the Foxx / Budd albums to underscore the pieces (Fisher describes it as 'my journey through London's lost rivers').
