Listening to it right now, and it's superb. Really, really well produced, with a stonking sound.

Very well done to everyone, a genuinely excellent souvenir.

Thanks!

Blimey 35 notes on E-bay and someone as put in a bid. I'd just love to tell the bidder that they can get it from Townsend at "normal" price and tell the seller that more copies maybe pressed if there is enough demand, so saying strictly limited to 1000 copies is misleading.

I was also wondering just how top secret it is to be told which tracks come from which venue just out of pure curiosity.

I enjoyed this live album. The production and clarity is well worth the price and for me it's a must have smile

Are people really that dumb to pay that much?

I notice that the seller is based in Southampton, but I'd just like to say that it's NOT me eek

Is it too much to expect another Foxx fan living locally?

I must confess when I heard that the tracks were selected from different gigs, I was a mite concerned. I’m not fond of this approach – it rarely sounds as connected as a whole gig recording, but I’m glad my fears were unfounded. It really does sound like it’s from one gig, although the encore tracks seem to be a bit quieter than the ones that make up the main set

After listening to it three or four times the highlights for me are Underpass, Metal Beat, No-One Driving, Blurred Girl, 030 and Touch and Go.

Highlights of the encore are Burning Car and the synth-explosion that is 21st Century.

Having said that, it’s worth it for the booklet alone which contains images some of which I’d only ever seen at the Conningsby Gallery late last year. The images are mostly of the Quiet Man walking through a deserted city.

It’s unbelievable the amount of work that has been put into the live document of Metamatic, you just don’t get this attention to detail from many other artists.

A fabulous souvenir from a great tour! This release took me by total surprise, but its so worth it as I went to the gigs in Manchester and the ICA. Curious to know which tracks were recorded where! But it does sound like like just one gig. smile
