Morning all,

Just a brief note on the pictures themselves;

Aside from the large CO images on the upper floor, many of the other pictures were ones that appear on the front and inside the TCM booklet; (TCM, Stray Sinatra Neurone, projectionist, Underwater Automobiles etc) and a few from TPOE (some photo's were subtitled Grey Suit Music).

However there were a few I'd never seen before. Sarah spoke to John about a print of a collage from John's art-school days back in the early 70s called 'Visitor' - to describe it would be to ruin it, it did spark a lot of conversation though. You either loved it or hated it; I thought it was great!

Hi to Sarah, Peter, Tessa, Geoff, Ian and Peter

Peter – Many, many thanks for the present!

Were the Grey Suit Music images the same ones from the TPOE artwork?

Hi Alex,

From memory, the front cover of TPOE was there and there was a close-up shot of the figure's hand as well. These were both subtitled Grey Suit Music.

Hi Brian

Did take a few pics, mainly of the Metamatic crew! Will sort them out ASAP.

Sheesh, I'm tired today. Didn't get home until 12.30am, probably got to sleep about 2.00am!

I'm tired today also. After the excitement of yesterday I found it hard to wind down after I got home.

Plus I had a strange dream with John in it eek

I understand that Jack and Bruno played another improvised set to open the exhibition on Monday night.
They were 'unusual' at Fulham Palace.

For those (like me) who found the set more than just bearable, you can download ALL their performances (except Fulham??) at their new website:-

On the pics page, there is one of the Fulham marquee that happens to have John Foxx in it. Just about.
And me.
Some things are just unfortunate.

I did see Jack and Bruno there, in fact I spoke to Bruno, and there were some discs on the side that were for the taking, but they didn't play anything to my knowledge. TCM was playing in the background, and there weren't any piano's in there - there wasn't enough room! Bruno was taking some photo's at one point. Nice guys. I mentioned to Bruno that I always wanted piano lessons, and asked if he'd teach me! He said he would! laugh

Shame you couldn't make it last night, Martin, would have been great to see you again.

Hi Martin
Jack and Bruno's CD of Fulham is now on it's way to you. I know you enjoyed that concert from your previous posts concerning Fulham. I hope you enjoy it. That's the nice thing about Metamatic forum we help each other out and for me the disc's were free.

Regards

I'm hoping that someone will post a couple of pics on this site of the Coningsby Gallery as there were some people at the event with professional looking camera's.

I think some nice pics would give a flavour of the event.

Peter
