Without Woolworth's, I would not have bought The Garden! On cassette.

I have boxes and boxes of cassettes, both pre-recorded and (mostly) not. I keep planning a cassette month, whereby I avoid CDs, MP3s, etc like the plague. Hasn't happened yet, but I refuse to be dragged into digitising more than is necessary. It's just more WORK TO DO, and that sucks. wink

I am so glad that technology is making things easier for us all. Like emails and paperless work places .

Im in two minds about 'paperless offices' and 'mp3s'. Once its been put into digital format, then its genreally easier to use and transfer around. Its the digitising from the start thats mad. The worst thing IMO is cdrs that need their song titles typed in manually, which can start to feel like your writing a book.

I wish I had the patience to wait a few weeks after a release and get it dirt cheap from Play.com

You take a chance doing that though.
Sometimes I see something I bought full price discounted in the budget bin but usually (in my record shop)new releases are a couple of dollars cheaper on the day they are released and then go up in price the next week or so.

Lets not talk about Talk Talk, as we talked ourselves into waiting weeks for another to arrive in the shop.

How can I forget that?
That Talk Talk 'incident' is what has prompted me to take this "buy now and ask questions later" attitude laugh
