It's still my favourite Ultravox album too! Stunning piece of work.
It was obviously the huge boost of inspiration that Gary needed at the time.

Yeah, theres 'classic pics' of Numan wearing hes SOR t-shirt around 'The pleasure Principle' time. Just goes to show how important the album and its influence was on hes own music.
On a side note: John gave Numan the 'Exotour' album as a gift, when they were backstage after a Foxx and Gordon gig.

Yeah, wasn't that photo of John and Gary featured in an issue of Extreme Voice?
I wonder what Gary Made of the Exotour album.
Don't think I've seen those shots of him in a SOR shirt!

I might be wrong here, did Mike Oldfield appear on stage with JM Jarre on the docklands DVD? I know JM Jarre covered Tubular bells.

Don't think I've seen those shots of him in a SOR shirt! Theres been several pics, but the best one was in a Numan newsletter. Lets say he was pleased to state he had one of the limited edition. He wore it a few times but the main one was back stage at i think the TOTPs studio.

Yes, Alex, that thread did get Numanised (!) but did, as you say, answer the question. So, it looks like Foxx won't be supporting Numan.
With regard to 'Jagged', I am definitely one of those not keen on Numan's current penchant for industrial music. The sound and image leave me cold. I would love to see Numan more faithfully return to his electronic roots but hey, this isn't the forum for me to discuss such matters.
That's why I have such a passion for Foxx. The way he's continued to tap into the sound bank from SOR and Metamatic to produce increasingly interesting and diverse electronic albums leaves me with nothing but admiration.
