As far as I am aware there are not too many cover versions of JF tracks about.
I have a cover of Undepass by UK goth/industrial act Attrition on a Swedish compilation called "To Cut A Long Story Short - (A tribute to the pioneers of electropop" it is quite a good cover much slower than the original.

Also one of my favourite synthpop bands are a German band called Second Decay, they covered Burning Car but I cannot find this as it was only ever released on CD single as a bside.
Second Decay are a great analog synthpop band and must be big JF fans as their label is called Quiet Man records!

I also found this cover version of No-one driving by a Scottish band called Tascam Too:

Hi BF, I'm pretty sure I have the Second Decay version of "Burning Car" somewhere... I remember I got it from some P2P network. If you're interested, please drop me a line.

Hi, All

If you want to hear some rather quirky versions look on myspace music for "the Buduls" and also "Progfoxx"

I think Louis or a friend of his - has a hand in both of them somewhere.

BtR :p

We have an active John Foxx covers "comp" running over on dubsounds.com ending in december. It's gone a bit quiet there on the forum at the moment (everyone's busy) also the site is being re-launched by Shaun to be new and improved.
So far Gavin of The Photographers has finished his track "An Ocean We Can Breathe".
I extended the deadline as I wanted to make sure enough people could contribute. It's open to all. There are no actual prizes other than the acheivement of creating a great track that may not have been planned/scheduledprior to the "comp".

For another wicked Foxx 'parody' type thing, you could do worse than go HERE:-

http://www.philglanville.com/music/lifes-all-right

click on "This City".

Do check out his other tracks and albums as well. cool
Not that he's a friend of mine, and he doesn't drink in my local pub or anything. Men Are from Mars is especially good…

Here's the listed we put together at The Other Place
a couple of years ago

Underpass
1)Attrition - Keepsakes and Reflections 2001
2)Psychic Force - Club Classics 1998)
This City
Phil Glanville - Life's All Right 1997
Burning Car
Second Decay - La Decadence Électronique 1992 (SUB 006)
Hiroshima Mon Amour
Ordinary Psycho - Private Island
The Church
Young Savage
The Thrones (single B side 1994)
The Man Who Dies Every Day
Lossless

Perhaps this is the time (again) to stamp me little foot and wave me little flag demanding a 'tribute' album?
The Klaxxons, Perspects, Ladytron, Metamatics...

I know that's a crap phrase, but there are some very credible examples out there to Soft Cell, Depeche Mode etc etc.

And I dont mean tribute bands either.. eek

Rather an intermittent 'signal' though...
