Just "found" two copies in the attic of
Mr Foxx's Virgin VHS.

Curious as I am, I had a look at amazon.co.uk
to see if they were still available in any format
(yes I know, I didn't think so either).

All I could find were 2nd hand copies in vhs format.

But c'mon!!
Who would pay between £75 & £175 for a used copy
(or new for that matter)?

I find the whole thing absurd, but that's me.
What's your opinion?
And how much did you guys pay for your copies?

Cheers!

I have three original copys on VHS, and two are signed. Have also transferred it to two dvds, one to play on a compilation with other shows, and one for if the tapes fade. Lets just say £75 and £175 is 'a bit much', and people will kick themselves if an official DVD is released one day.

I paid £8.99 in Virgin Megastore in London donkeys years ago. The sad thing I still have the tape but no video player. I do own a DVD of it though. I keep it for sentimental reasons and I'm a bit of a collecto maniac. shocked

Brian: Packed and ready.....

The video still sells on ebay for around £10 if its only on there for a few days, but if its about two weeks then more people see it and the final price goes to about £25. So its not always the raritie of the item that makes the price, its also the kind of promotion.

Since John's slightly higher profile in '06 it will be interesting to see if ebay bids rise to the loopy Amazon price level.
