Been thinking seen Foxx and Gorden a good few times now. Wouldnt you all like a different kind of show ? Maybe a different set up .

I've only seen them live once so I'm not bored
yet.

What would be nice is if the T-shirt gig had Robin Simon & Billy Currie as guests for any Ultravox tracks;)

I know,I can dream.

I think John and Louis have a great partnership, so I've never got bored but I suppose it would be nice if there was ever a guest appearence at a concert. I'm dreaming as well. Peter

I would be more than happy to be a guest synth player for the shows! laugh

I haven't seen them live yet, but seen hundreds of photos, and vids!

I think that they should wear something different too. I've never seen John in a t-shirt, and as he just seems to be wearing black all the time, a change might be good! Yeah, jeans and a t-shirt - something informal!

It is a rather static stage show, and while it suits the simplicity of some of the songs, it leaves others feeling empty. I guess you can only watch two men hidden behind keyboards for so long without getting bored. it's not like there's a stunning light show to go with it either.

Personally, I would like to see more of a visual element incorporated in to John and Louis' shows. Now I know John has already started this with his CO and TCM gigs, and I believe some projections were used in last year's summer tour on one of the gigs. Maybe this is just the beginning.

So I think we need more of that. Given that John doesn't like being the frontman, he's not going to be standing a the front of the stage at the mic any time soon, so I think the "Kraftwerk approach" would work well. So many of John's songs are visual and could be brought even more to life when played live by accompanying imagery.

I dont see what else he could do without spending some money.

Hmm..Unless,dress up as a flowerpot man like Peter Gabriel did in the 7 ages of Rock Doc;)

Or become Ziggy Foxx & the Grey Suits from Mars:)

Interesting observation.

I don't think seeing John and Louis would ever be boring!! I've also seen quite a few gigs and I think it works really well.

having said that, I have only seen them performing with video accompanient once I think, so it would be good to explore that.
