I have to say the BFI information is the most credible example I've seen, and it certainly tally's with most people's predictions, whether it's accurate or not though is yet to be determined.

But let's not argue about it - it's only his age!

You're right Gloria it's part of Johns magic that he doesn't want to reveal his age. John Foxx was born back in the seventies like you say when he created Ultravox.

I was particularly sorry to read that John's not getting any booty at present.

Given that nobody knows when he was born, and that he disappeared for 10 years, I've always assumed there's a simple explanation.

Charley Chorley is a Time Lord.

It explains where he found Louis Gordon. It would also explain why the Old Wellington Inn in Manchester physically moved in 1974, and then again in 1996. What more evidence do you need!

There are sites on the Interweb that state Dennis was born on 26/9/47. Now, where they got this info from, I don't know, but I assume that at some point (before it became a state secret) it was possible to find out such information and that it was recorded and has been passed down. This leads me to thinking that the gig at the ICA could be a kind of 60th birthday celebration. (Or, if other detectives are right, a 55th birthday celebration.) I tend towards the 1947 hypothesis because if he was born in 1952, why would he be so secretive about it? A
