To help a bit here, in a recent interview Billy Currie told me that John was older than the rest of Ultravox (and Billy was born in 1950). I remember Billy saying something along the lines of how shocked they all were when John turned 30 because the rest of them were still in their twenties.
It's interesting how his age is something which has never been disclosed by John. It's also interesting how his recent live album had a picture of him from at least 10 years ago. What does this suggest about John's attitude towards aging?!
