And I got one of Stafford today! There were lots to choose from! So am I right in saying that we are to mail them direct to Cerise at address given from the link? Do we post the postcards or put them in an envelope to help prevent damage?!!

Yes, send to me at the EV address in the link (scroll to the bottom of the page) and I'll scan and post 'em here. Don't worry about putting them in an envelope, just write and post - the postmark adds a certain charm!

There's a strong possibility that I won't be able to find a postcard of Bethnal Green. If one exists I'll find it! If it doesn't...well, that's probably because the ASBO's set fire to the newsagents again! However all is not lost as Liverpool Street is 10 minutes up the road and I should find something there!

Well done everyone involved on getting this stuff sorted, and grateful to Cerise for copying, cataloguing etc - I bet you and Rob wish record companies were as easy to work with as forum members!

There are definitely postcards available in Bethnal Green young man, but if you want a better class of postcard there is always the National Trust property, Sutton House , in Hackney.



As the late (and much missed) comic Linda Smith once commented, we shouldn't be derogative towards people with ASBOs, kids especially - with the education system the way it is, for some people it's the only qualification they'll ever get...
