Anyone share my passion for the above?
I experience many benefits through lifting weights and enjoy a feeling of well being.

It is certainly the healthy option when it comes to choice of bars.

I do fitness, no weight lifting.
But I recognize that feeling of well being you describe.
My body feels ... tight
and stress disappears ...
and clothes fit better. wink

That's excellent LH
Not always easy to fit it in mellifluously with a working regime is it not?
I do mine at home which is not only convenient but proves inexpensive and provides something superior to air conditioning.
As you'll be aware, nutrition plays a huge part in any fitness predilections and in my case I have to consume the correct amount of proteins/complex carb's/fats et al.

It certainly is a stress buster and also boosts the immune system not to mention the overall buzz that one experiences as a result of training.

Keep up the good work...

I've been weight training for 30 years, although you probably wouldn't know it by looking at me.

I have been hampered by back problems for virtually the entire period, and having tried chiropractors, 'Bowen Technique', 'Active Release' etc. I finally got a proper diagnosis from a sports physiotherapist. It took him about 3 minutes to sort me out: I have one leg 1.5 cm longer than the other eek

The leg length discrepancy in entirely above the knee and thus any exercise where the weight is coming through my back and I am rotating on my thighs is a problem. So unfortunately regular squats and deadlifts are out frown

Anyway, I have to say, back pain aside, I have enjoyed every minute of it smile

I
Sorry to learn of this,it must have been so frustrating over the course of years.
Squats and deads are an inherent compound exercise to bulk up generically so if that is what you yearn for, then again it is rather sad.
Notwithstanding with proper form and weight selection you still have a multitude of choices when weight training.
Nutrition is key if you want to bulk up and this is the hardest part of the weight training regime.

Anyway good luck with your endeavours and remember that mind power can overcome many obstacles. Happy lifting smile
