What a fantastic interview, it’s only taken me almost a week to read it all, loopy, informative, and ultimately quite an honest picture of the man.
The creativity of the hit singles and videos were definitely something of an event at the time. Like a lot of people I was also shocked in the more recent past by where he was as a person, and sad on his behalf, you could only hope he’d make it through.
It’s clear that when he’s up he’s full of life, and I think it’s unpredictable as to just how much he will be able to succeed again as an artist, but bring on the mavericks!
Especially the Dandy ones
