I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here...
laugh eek

Thankfully the only music artists to take part in this are usually ex-boy band members who really should learn to just let it go, (do the the sex pistols count as a boy band? laugh )

George Takei eek hey who's commanding the Excelsior then?
Also, what use is a tennis player gonna be in the jungle?
And maybe Esther Rantzen could find some hilarious knobbly root vegetables for comedy effect.

I think I've watched too much of this show already  or maybe its that large glass of wine I just had smile

it helps

I've finally made it through "Robot Monster." eek It took me several weeks and numerous stops and starts, and I'll never get those minutes of my life back, but I guess it was worth the effort . . .

I think this silly little B-movie has been oversold, as it is not a surrealist masterpiece to rival "Un Chien Andalou," and anyone who tells you it is, is simply having you on! wink I also don't think it falls into the category of "so bad it's actually good" films — it's just, um, bad. But since fond childhood memories of "Robot Monster" have inspired so much wonderful retrofuturist electropop from the former Dennis Leigh, who am I to complain?

watched: 'Sunshine' on TV last night.
Just another Hard sci-fi time worn plot about a team of professionals in conflict on a life or death mission, things go wrong due to human or technical error.

Not that I’m a fan of Danny Boyle or anything but I’d been led to expect a lot more from this film.
I’ve been thinking about it all day though, but only because of the classic film reference points that were name-checked in the great visuals: Silent Running, Solaris, 2001, (and I was reminded of the Doctor Who episodes The Impossible Planet, and, 42 laugh ).
In the final scenes it became Slasher movie meets standard techie sci-fi, and yet another fantasy movie where you feel that maybe something very original or different could actually have been created from all the effort, ah well...
