i've mailed you a coupled of times over the weekend Good result in the 6,5k running race on Friday but yesterday I wept bitter tears of frustationn
I even worked for an hour , had my bowl of pasta for the carbs at 1100 and sauntered towards the station to catch the 12 30 train to Novi for the 15 minute journey It had been cancelled Signora Basso was elsewhere with the car so I jumped on my bike and proceeded to pedal the 25k like f++k to Novi (2 pm start ) I was doing about 40 k an hour on the busy dual carriageway when I had a blowout !
With traffic whizzing past at 80 miles an hour ,not the easiest place to change an inner tube To my horror I realised the valves of two inner tubes I'd bought from Decathlon were too short for my type of wheel (Stupid beginner's mistake) I refitted the wheel anyway and attempted to inflate , but to no avail(As I already suspected due to there being no purchase on the valve) I cut my losses and pushed my steed the 9k back home Upon my arrival I downed several litres of lager Deffo not a John Denver diamond day

Anyway as I said in my reply I saw the Giro fly through ,a magnificent sight to behold as usual "Seconds" by The Humes would have provided an appropriate backing track
All being well your Spuds should get into Europe thisw Sunday , aided and abetted by my Toffees

Sam Allardyce and Robert Smith - never seen in the same room together...I reckon that's no co-incidence. Both are one and the same I reckon. I think the clue is in some rare YouTube footage posted a few years ago when Sam's half time team talk consisted of the following;
