As for the quality - it's not like Numan to release something he's not happy with, so I wonder if it's a technical error...?
Hi Alex
No Townsends have confirmed that the copies they currently have are exactly the same as the one sent back. In the light/smoke effects sections of the film the pixelation is really bad. I am amazed that Numan has released this as it is. The DVD is only 4gb so only used standard DVD disc which means heavy compression when authoring. Should have used DVD9 like his other DVD releases. I suspect the lack of extras was because of the quality of some of the video because he really could n't compress it further by adding more stuff to the DVD as that would have reduced the quality even further.
He has gone down the cheap route by going with DVD 5. I have the Hope Bleeds, Fragment & Telekon DVDs which are perfect quality. He really has ruined, what to me any how, is an important document of a great album.
As mentioned previously mine has gone back and they have refunded my money.
Bottom line for a commercial release the quality is very poor indeed.
