Inspired by an earlier post today I've been searching for that Stray Sinatra Neurone under Hand-Held Skies and been playing TCM

Not one I dust off very often I have to confess its a bit of a Peripheral Character for me, and sometimes feels like listening to a silent movie on TV and The Projectionist has turned the screen around and away to face the wall.

Travelogue, I've never heard that one before. Critics say that it's rubbish compared to Reproduction. What do you think?

No way! Not rubbish! Probably better than Reproduction in some ways, but quite different. Better sound quality (production?) and perhaps overall better songs.
They're both brill tho. cool

Travalogue - Rubbish?? confused eek
I think a more suitable statement would be:

Travalogue - Superb (perhaps Human League's finest effort?)

Travelogue is a progression from Reproduction and a more coherent album overall, except for the stupid version of Being Boiled.

How could any album that opens with "Black Hit of Space" and closes with "WXJL Tonight" possibly be "rubbish"?!

If you like Reproduction, you will like Travelogue for sure.

I agree Alex but have to agree to disagree about 'Being Boiled' .. the hairs on the back of me neck still stand up when it starts off with that synth-trumpet blare (doesn't do that with the original...)!!
