I've only heard a sample of the new Oxygene, and I thought it sounded fantastic - almost identicle to the original recording, but much richer. Oh and I've heard one of the 'new' pieces

However I cannot pass a full verdict on it yet as it will be a Christmas present! So in other words I've got to wait a bit before I get my paws on it!

Ok! I was thinking of putting it on Santa's list too. Just as stocking filler mind you LOL

Since it is probably my all-time favourite album, it'll be weird to hear a new recording.

Mind you, the same thing happened with Tubular Bells and I could see advantages to both versions.

I guess we'll wait and see... ;-)

I heard the LFAR version of Nightlife for the first time recently. (Have I already mentioned that somewhere?)

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that .. don't agree about ABF tho .. it's very much of its time, I could never knock it.

I really like A Broken Frame! It's got some superb songs on it.
For me Speak and Spell is their weakest.
