Today I probably played my Virgin CD edition of 'Metamatic' for one last time *sniff*.

And then I played 'Cendre' by Fennesz and Sakamoto.

And then 'Drift/Translucence' by Harold Budd and some other bloke...

Where's my bloody Metamatic CD????

Hmm? Not bloody here, that's where!

I thought Townsend sent them out the Friday before release date?

If I find out that it's sitting in the post room here, someone's gonna get their port disconnected intermittently for the next year. (and random "outages" until I get bored.)
Oh, and zero tech support. And their mouse randomly switched to left-handed.
And whatever else I can think of.

GRR!!!

Right. I've calmed down a bit now... smile

It WAS in the internal post.

However, when I opened it, the (pathetic) hinge snapped off. mad The CDs also took some convincing to come off the centre bit. mad

Just listened to CD2. Fantastic.
The "unreleased" tracks are worth the cost of the CD.

Was this REALLY recorded in 1980? It was WAY ahead of it's time..

Like a Miracle sounds very Vince Clarke.. In a good way. Love the "Telstar" solo..

To Be with you sounds like it came from one of the later Foxx and Gordon albums..
