Received my copy this morning. A nice addition to John's catalogue. Some upbeat pieces in the style of 'Crash Course' and some slower and moodier. The Other Side is a nice taster of what's to come. Reminds me very much of the 'A Secret Life' album.

My copy also arrived yesterday.

I detect many influences throughout of Eno,JMJ,Moroder and also Gary Numan on one track ( Disaster Series).

Also some parts of A Simple Life and John's earlier ambient works.

Some tracks have Flightpath Tegel feel to them.

Do I like it Yes.

Love the sleeve and artwork design.

Is there anywhere I can hear a sample of this album before buying? Nothing on soundcloud, no previews on amazon, nothing frown
[Normally, I'd just have ordered it and hoped, but times are hard!]

So, how many video sources can we identify from that first video? Vertigo, Blade Runner, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, Last Year at Marienbad, Repo Man, The Swimmer, The Third Man, possibly Logan's Run, possibly Miller's Crossing, possibly Lost Highway, and many more...

Got my copy today and listened to it twice.

The music is great and blew me away from the first listen.Another masterpiece from John. And I like the wonderful art work of the sleeve.

Well done John!

Ballardian Video Neuronica brings together pairs of realities: The Past and The Future; The Artist and The Musician; The Automobile and The City. Electricity, and Ghosts. Foxx assemblage is the noble conquest of these irrational couplings, seemingly irreconcilable in appearance, into an environment which suits them perfectly. Anti-fictional synthesis, if you like.
