I attended the Rough Trade East shop on Wednesday, where Karl Bartos hosted a video installation to launch his new record, Off the Record.
Whilst Karl mixed and mingled and everyone listened in on headphones to a number of screens, displaying videos to his tunes, who should appear but Benge. A short while later, John himself entered and chatted to Karl for a while. Then they all made an equally discreet exit.
What a moment for me! Good job I got my camera. Will John forgive me for not catching his good side? Looks fine to me as the pictures stand.
