Vile Electrodes (with WeirdGear,and the Vanity Clause)

Last night I popped down to Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex for an Electro night at a venue called Barlambs.

I enjoyed both Weird Gear & The Vanity Clause but my personal hightlight of the night was meeting & seeing The Vile Electrodes live for the first time.

I've become a big fan over the last few months.

Their musical style is quirky electro pop with Kraftwerk/Foxx/The Knife influences.

I wasn't quite prepared for their visual style.Dressed full of Berlin Decadence

They have to be one of the sexiest Synth bands I've ever seen.

From the skimpy outfits to the flaggelating playing of synth drums.

A good night was had by all.The band were very friendly and we a had a nice chat about all things synth.

Really looking forward to seeing them again at some point.If you get the chance I highly recommend them.

Looks like by the end of it, and judging by the last pic with yourself Brian, it had clearly been a great night

What's that keytar?

Nevermind, I figured it out: Rock Band 3 Keytar. Jolly, jolly: A computer game controller that works as well a midi keyboard! I got mine for 16 ecus.

What happened to Loz Tronic? She's not in the band anymore (as far as I know).

I think she left in 2011.

There was also a previous 3rd member before I saw them as well I think.
