I thought there was a thread on this, but all I can find are notes about JF related gigs. Anyway, thought it might be useful to post things we know that are coming up that might be of interest to the audience here. I really hate hearing when people say they say a really great gig the previous night!!

I'll go first -
Matthew Dear is touring his Beams album. US first, then EU. EU dates are as follows:
11.26 Amsterdam, NL @ Trouw
11.27 Hasselt, BE @ MOD
11.28 Brussels, BE @ Beursschouwburg
11.30 Utrecht, NL @ Tivoli de Helling
12.01 Birmingham, UK @ Hare and Hounds
12.02 Manchester, UK @ Deaf Institute
12.03 Bristol, UK @ Exchange
12.05 London, UK @ Fabric
12.07 Moscow, RU @ Troyka Multispace
12.08 Paris, FR @ Weloveart

No Tokyo dates (yet?) so I may need to think about planning a pre-Christmas trip!

I'd noticed that Matt Dear gig at the Hare & Hounds Brum and may go.

Gig wise for the rest of the year all I've got is Heaven 17 Luxury Gap Tour in Brum at the end of the month.

Big Gigs - I'm going to try and make it to Claudia Brucken next month and Saint Etienne with special guests Scritti Politti in December.

Small gigs - too many to mention, this week alone I'm off to see; Lone Taxidermist, Goodbye Leopold, Blindness and Spotlight Kid.

Just the one gig left for me this year - Dead Can Dance at The Royal Albert Hall at the end of the month.
This'll be the first time that I've seen them - and so I'm really looking forward to it... grin

Dammit, it's tonight frown frown frown

Wish I was going too Rob I really really do. Never seen them perform either and was bizarrely oblivious about DCD's work back in the day - I've agonised about attending this gig since it was announced but the cost of a London trip ruled it out, (I'm hoping they will cast their net north next time)

Incidentally, I was ever so slightly underwhelmed by some of Anastasis on its release, but its lovely atmosphere quickly won me over...
