Wonderful stuff. I have a passion for photographing ruinous places and Urban Exploration is one of my favourite pastimes.

A fascinating article and through the comments at the foot of that page I've found some utterly gorgeous images by a photographer called Simon Marsden.

I wonder if John was aware of these when putting together Cathedral Oceans?

Sadly my discovery has come at an unfortunate time, as Marsden died suddenly earlier this month.

I have several Simon Marsden books - he is quite simply an inspiration.
