A sad footnote to my disco compilation. Only found out yesterday that Andrea True died on 7th November last year.

Erstwhile porn star, singer, drugs counsellor and astrologer.

Shine on Andrea.

I'm having a very good start to the year, catching up with my Christmas presents and the albums I got towards the end of last year

All high-profile stuff cp to what is often put up in this thread, but over the last two weeks I have thoroughly enjoyed:

Kate Bush - 50 Words For Snow
Magazine - No Thyself
Band Of Holy Joy - How To Kill A Butterfly
The Horrors - Primary Colours (and) Skying
John Foxx - The Shape Of Things
Xeno and Oaklander - Sets and Lights
Gazelle Twin - The Entire City

Nothing new this year yet, but that's one heck of a start for me!

I know what you mean, last night I found myself listening to some obscure album by some obscure English guy with a cult following, I believe he's been around for a while but I'm sure it'll never catch on. His album has one of those leftfield cool but not overly self-consciously hip titles, called 'interplay' smile

Lol. I've heard of him. Didn't he do that one about Underpants, back in the day?
God, is he coming back? What is it with all these old geezers from the 80s trending again all of a sudden because nowadays synths are 'cool'. Who do they think they are!

Anyway, I've gone all obscure again today and back into the fascinating world of Moon Wiring Club
