For me, this could just be John's most perfect pop song.

Whether it be the full album version of the brilliant single edit, it's just superb. Vocally fantastic, optimistically upbeat (yet nostalgic), very catchy melody and chorus and wonderfully obscure yet memorable lyrics.

It's grown on me more and more since the release of Interplay, culminating with the live experience of it last month.

A good thing to share, it is an incredibly powerful song. At first it seems quite simpilstic, but deeper listening reveals layers of complexity which give it depth as well as shine.

I really feel that John has been at his creative best over the last couple of years.

I agree Alex - certainly one of Interplay's best and it re-blew me away when it was played on the radio, it came over so well. Pity it wasn't pushed a bit more as a "single", but would that really make any sense these days?

Singles are not what they once were, and for many artists these days, not even relevant. I can't even remember the last time I bought one.

Definitely one of John's best and more upbeat tracks and I also think "Destination" falls into that category.
