i still have just a cdr-copy of "shifting city" (kindly provided by mr. normall some years ago) so i'm looking forward to the remaster.

When I put all John's albums on my iPod, I always have to turn it up when any tracks from Shifting City come on. I think it sounds "tinny" and lacks bass.

I think most people know this, but The Pleasures of Electricity is probably my favourite Foxx album. I certainly don't think I would be here if it weren't for that CD...

In iTunes, if you go into the properties/info for a track, you can actually set it to use certain EQ/volume adjustments specifically for that track.

For my opinion Shifting City needs a re-master of it's recording , but Pleasures... not. Sounds OK ,I think. But I'm very keen of bonus tracks - for both CD'S...
