I'm James, an avid synthesist and lover of music.
John Foxx is probably one of my favourite musicians ever, amongst other artists such as NewOrder,Radiohead,PinkFloyd,Kraftwerk,etc...
I live in Australia, but missed JFoxx's last trip out here as I wasn't aware of his music at the time. It was only after he left that I heard albums like Metamatic and The Garden and fell in love with his music. I hope he manages to make it back here one day, as I would love to get the chance to see him live in concert.
I also adore the concept of his completely analog show at the roundhouse, and am extremely envious of anyone who was fortunate enough to be there. I can only imagine how great it would have been to experience those classic tracks the way they were intended to be written, on real musical machines without use of computers. I've been highly enjoying all the footage that's been uploaded onto youtube (much of which I believe originated from other members of this forum.) and I can't wait for the rumoured dvd to be released. I'll be first in line.
Anyway, thanks to the admins for accepting me into the forum, and I hope I can make some strong contributions here.
