I am old enough to remember how excited I was at the time of its release . . .

It was a major effort for a high school student in northwest Indiana to get hold of that 7-inch. It took me a couple of months and a few Saturday trips on the train to Chicago before I got my paws on a copy, but I still have the single. It is in surprisingly good condition, although the sleeve is a bit the worse for wear.

Wow - nice one Martin. Unbelievable - I think a bit of me is still stuck in that era, it all seems quite recent in many ways.

This explains why I had an urge to listen Metamatic CD-2 last night after quite long break. It starts with "Film One".

Great - what a fantastic anniversary. Remember seeing it in a record shop window although I didn't buy it because I was poor.

So many 30 yr anniversaries coming up this year. Must make a list.
