Why? I always thought it was This Side of Paradise.

Yeah it's a new track but don't why it wasn't on Metamatic .. perhaps it's in a completely new style or something, but I doubt it as he's done so well with the new electronic stuff - I mean there's no way he's going to go back to guitars and drums etc. like Gary Numan That stuff is so dead!
Hope it's a taster for Metamatic 2 !!

This track might be one from the Metamatic sessions - then we'll have everything associated with that album!

I reckon he'll change style for the next album.

Sorry to digress, but take a look at the intro to that Smash Hits article, I quote:-

"In these dark days of economic hardship and world recession it is the duty of each and every responsible citizen to tighten their belts, pull up their socks, put their shoulders to the wheel and noses to the grindstone..."

laugh 30 years ago and cor blimey, its present day blighty again matey!

And only this morning I read that Phil Collins was back at number One in the album charts with his bland brand of murder eek

I think that John should re-release Stars On Fire with What Kind Of Girl as a double A-Side single, and lets go 30 years full circle in a positive vein and put the world to rights smile

who's all on board for this one?

How about a double 7-inch pack - available only from your local independent record store?

Despite my occasional selective defending of Mr Collins, I seriously cannot back his latest venture. Apparently the idea was to get the songs to sound exactly like their 60s counterparts, except with you know who on vocals. Sorry, just don't see the point.
