I was reading a newspaper (rare event for me) on a plane recently, and some pictures struck me as incredibly familiar. The images were of a garden in Ninfa in Italy. Is this the place where the cover of "The Garden" was shot? Will try to scan and post here later so you can see what I mean - a beautiful place, and straight into next years holiday planner!!

The gardens at Ninfa - the scan looks like a painting, but it is actually a photo.

Name of reporter is coincidental (I'm assuming!)

I was under the impression that The Garden photos were taken in England.

Most of them were taken in England.

The photograph that appears on the front cover was taken at Scotney Castle .

Very beautiful Chris! smile
I once was in Rome, where old Roman architecture is mixed with Renaissance and Fascist architecture.
A shifting city indeed!
And now there's this garden. A good excuse to plan another trip to the Roman area.
wink

thanks for posting, it looks and sounds very beautiful, I'm willing myself to be there now! but think I'd better play some lush romantic music, it's cheaper than going on holiday smile

Yes, the two cypress pines above the old structure make it obvious. The old building at Ninfa doesn't have them.
