Just to let you know (or remind you) thats there's a programme on BBC 4 this coming Friday (16th) about the synthesizer becoming central to pop music in the 80's. I saw a trailer the other night and it did have our John briefly pictured along with likes of Gary Numan and Depeche Mode .

Also following that there's a programme of Synth music from the BBC archives.
