Chris C, I got all of my remasters through Townsend, too, and they're all fine – I went back and played disc 2 of TGS a couple of times this evening just to make sure, and it's glitch-free. I hope that gives you some comfort.

By the way, when listening to "Running across Thin Ice with Tigers," I've noticed that I can't make it past the second line ("And he had some colour movies") without giggling and fighting the urge to shout out in response, "But were they TINY?" Sorry – can't help myself!

Got my replacement copy of TGS a few days ago, and it doesn't have the glitch. The defective copy has a visible little flaw in the plastic near the outer edge of the disc, though I don't know if that's the source of the problem or just a coincidence.

At any rate, obviously not all of Amazon's stock is defective.

Its possible the master is faulty, although that type of problem seldom slips through the net. As theres only a small amount appearing at present, im inclined to go along with it just being a faulty batch too, further on in the process.
