Same here. booklets fine, mastering superb!

Regarding the Fab Four fingerprints all over The Golden Section, well as Picasso once said; "Good artists copy, great artists steal"

is this the Bowie thread? laugh

and to quote something that the great man David himself said: “Strangely, some songs you really don't want to write”.

I looked at the disc, no marks at all... tried it on 3 different players, same result. I then tried to put it into iTunes and it wouldn't read past 2:34 when it's a 6 minute plus track... Anyone else encounter this? If this is a production flaw, Edsel need to replace these discs.
There is at least one other with this 'glitch'.

Sorry I missed that.

Robin, are Edsel aware of this...? [/b]
Got one of these jumpy copies too. Bought it in London at a Zavvi shop - so no chance to get a new copy.

I saw there is a slight misburned point at the end of the disc.

Seems there are some defect copies in the shops!

All other discs I bought are OK. Seems it is a problem for Golden Section only.

Mine works fine as well, doesn't seem like a fault in the master to me.

Mine also plays perfectly. Maybe a bad batch of flawed disks?

These two different views may help to explain why some are possibly defected.

My extended Endlessly seems to skip a bit. At first I thought it was one of those Paul Hardcastle-type remixes that were then so fashionable (e.g. Ultravox's "One Small Day (extended)" - shocking).

Don't tell me that! eek Mine's waiting collection from the local post office.

I hope Townsend's copies have gone through the proper QC at Edsel.

I'm in the 'my Golden Section disc 2 plays just fine throughout' camp. smile
