Well I love it!!

There's lots of jagged edges, twists and new elements that give the original song a whole new direction, depth and meaning. Yes, to reach a new and different audience whose contemporary tastes are vastly different from ours...
I think its great that John's work grows and changes with time, retaining only the barest essential ingredients of the original pieces, and is now being held in high regard by young DJs and music-makers for its inspirational quality. Its this element of legacy in John's output that will live on beyond us all and ensure the longevity of his name and influence.
Different strokes for different folks I guess.
In my opinion :rolleyes: there hasn't been a remix yet that I don't like (some are stronger than others) and I much prefer to hear these rather than 'previously unreleased' versions of the same material that don't really move anything forward
