Gimmer is getting through to new people.

Yesterday we had a dress down day at work & I had my John Foxx Australian Tour T-shirt on.

Our MD came up to me and said "John Foxx! I've just bought his Glimmer album".

But then he remembers & always loved Underpass.

With 'Untrue' as the starting point then that could turn out to be a very rich landscape for Foxx fans to contemplate journeying across...

I have concluded that if "No One Driving" was released as it appears on Glimmer, and at the time it was originally released, that it would have been a monster hit in the Hi NRG scene that was so active not long after those days. Intersting to speculate that if it did become a monster hit, would it have influenced the musical direction thereafter?

Or am I just tired after a long weekend of playing with the kids?

I like this version a lot, actually! Also the extended Plaza with the extra synth rifts - it makes me feel the original lacked something!
