I realise now I should have taken a clearer photo of the t-shirts!

I had plenty of time before the concert started and the booth wasn't crowded. Oh, well, notch this one up for next time.

Isn't it just? This popped up earlier in the thread and I had a few shots of John holding the aforementioned gold pen.

My mind keeps dredging up an old Seinfeld episode about a pen but I can't quite recall the details now.
Not really. I've been getting a lot of stuff done lately at a local picture framer, so he's offering me mates rates now. I picked out a nice dark gray border and a lighter wooden border so the gradation from the blackish poster outwards gives it a nice overall effect.

Damn! Fan photos! That's another thing I didn't really think of doing.

Oh, well, another one to note down for next time. I wonder if John would mind posing with fans.

Actually, with the first photo I took of him when he came out, I should have taken a wider shot rather than zooming in. I'm not terribly happy about that image (the top of his head is missing!).

I was at the Adelaide gig, as I've mentioned before and counted exactly 4 females (no redheads ). I must admit (guiltily maybe??) that I was rapt at the small turnout at the time. It was like you'd been invited to your own personal John Foxx performance (preveiw).I did a head-count in the bar and 30 would be an over estimate. I counted 30 but then realised one of those was Louis (oops!) whom I got to have a great chat with and at least two others were staff. When John comes back to Oz (note my positive outlook???) I'll drive/fly to wherever he's playing. I'm very interested to hear if anyone went the the Richmond (Melbourne) gig???? and what the numbers were there. Like Adelaide, that gig had no "Tiny Colour Movies" but the one at the ACMI did.

I know what you mean. I enjoyed it too. Unfortunately, it doesn't give John (or his tour promoter) much incentive to come out again any time soon.
I am yet to see anyone from Melbourne post a comment. So we have no idea about turnout. I can't find any more reviews with Google either.

I recropped the last image I took of John as it had the better view of the t-shirt. (This time you can see the bit of gaffer tape above his head. )

The tour poster lists Red Octopus . I suspect they did both the tour posters and t-shirts.

Wow! I just rang the Corner Hotel in Melbourne and they presold 131 tickets and the lady I spoke to said they sold lots more at the door but didn't have exact figures (and that's without Tiny Colour Movies. Watch this space and I'll see if I can dig up the figures from the ACMI.

131 presold at the corner hotel in Richmond plus many more sold at the door. The ACMI is getting back to me re their numbers.

So it looks like Melbourne had similar numbers to Sydney. So its puzzling why nobody from Melbourne has posted here yet.
